An engineer who kept writing the software.
I’m an electronic engineer and full-stack developer in Pretoria, South Africa. I studied Electronic Engineering at the University of Pretoria, and I have spent the years since moving up the stack without ever quite letting go of the bottom of it.
These days I build logistics and fleet platforms at Nuvio Software, in C# and .NET, PostgreSQL, Blazor and Flutter. I’m also building Nuvio AI, the company’s AI-as-a-service platform. Before that: solar telemetry, hospital inventory, and a bakery’s worth of RFID.
Most systems that matter have a physical end and a screen at the other. I like working at both.
